hey everyone, after a little hiatus from my posts cause things got in the way, lets get back to Dungeon Fighter Online posts.
for this one, lets talk about the main character classes you can play as in Dungeon Fighter, I know I gave a discription of all the classes and their subclasses in my introduction, but I am going to give more details on just the main classes for this one, so enjoy and pay attention.
First, lets start off with one of the most popular classes and my favorite, The Slayer.
The Slayer class is a very balanced class, fast and powerful and can take alot of damage. he is easy to use but difficult to master as he doesn't have many skills at the start, but as he gets stronger, he begins to learn skills that can damage many enemys at once. his weakness is that he doesn't have much in the way of range,
but trust me, he doesn't need it.
a Slayer is a tormanted swordsman with a demon named Kazan living in his left arm, and he has to constantly struggle with it to keep from being possesed completely, those chains on his arm help keep the demon at bay. if you look at the picture, you can see his arm is purple-pink with chains on it. thats how, no matter what clothes they wear, you can tell its a slayer without a doubt.
Because of the demon in his arm, he can only wield a sword with one hand, but over the years, that became his advantage, his arm became so strong he can wield 2 handed weapons with one. also because of the demon in his arm, he has very strong resistance to Shadow energy and attacks, but is weak against Light energy and attacks.
if you are new to dungeon fighter or just perfer speed or a blade like I do, or just like a guy with darkness, you will love the Slayer. Unleash your Darkness.
The next one is someone who just loves to kick ***, and punch it and everything else, and is the class Justin Wong plays, The Fighter.
The Fighter is another fast and powerful class, but this class is more in your face and all their weapons all deal with close range, but they are really good at dealing combos, just be careful not to get swarmed.
The Fighter is someone who constantly trains in the martial arts and loves to fight, as she gains more experience, her move list grows. she can learn moves like suplexs, back breakers, low kicks and the nen shot, which is basically a hadoken, seriously.
The Fighter uses weapons like Gauntlets, Tonfa, Knuckle, and Claws to deal more damage then their bare fists can do and really know how to use them, this class really knows how to deal fast and deadly combos on individual opponents to take them down quickly, but don't have many moves for a big group of enemys till later.
if you love to combo and use melee attacks, love to just get in someones face, or just love and are decent in fighting games, The Fighter is for you. and I can really see alot of people in this site using this character.
there is also a male fighter out now, and he specilzes more in kicks then punches.
Break Their Hearts...
Our next character class is ready to lock and load, and is the character class that our very own Redblaze27 plays as, The Gunner.
The gunner, as you can guess by his name, uses all kinds of guns to fight at a long range and keep his opponents away. as a result, he is physically weak and cannot take much punishment, but he makes up for it with his shooting speed.
The gunner is a being that comes from another world named emperyion, where they have mastered technolegy to compensate for their worlds lack of magic. one day he fell through the ocean of his world and fell into the world of arad, now he is stuck there as he tries to find his way home, and have some fun while he is at it.
later on, he can learn to use bigger and better weapons like flame throwers and gattling guns, and even learn how to imbue magic into his bullets to deal elemental damage to enemys that are weak to that element.
if you love to fight long range or just like using guns, or want a change of pace from close range fighting, The Gunner is for you, Locked, Loaded and Ready to Rip.
There is also a female gunner out now
she plays a little differently then her male counterpart, but how exactly, I am not sure cause I never played them, so thats for you to figure out, but I can tell you this, this missus never misses her target.
Next is a class that is really magical, the Mage.
The mage is a class that is a little hard to master, as she is not very strong at the start, and cannot take much abuse. but once she levels up some, she becomes very powerful with deadly magic attacks. just remember, she is not very strong in the melee department, so try not to get swarmed by monsters.
The mage is a little girl that has come from the land of pandemonium to arad in hopes of finding a way to revive her land, but she soon finds out that she will need to save arad first before she can save her land.
since she looks like a little girl, she is the smallest class in terms of physical stature, but she more then makes up for it with all the magic spells and abilities she learns. but since she has the lowest starting HP and Strength and Moving Speed, you will REALLY need to be careful, as playing carelessly can really lead to instant death, as a result, this mage is not recommended for beginners.
if your a pro at DFO, love magic spells, or just want a challenge, then the mage is the class for you, Kill em with sweetness!
Next is a class with holy power, The Priest.
This Class is basically a tank, he has the strongest melee power at the start, but is also the slowest class in the game, not to mention he is pretty big, making him easy to hit. but trust me, this guy can take a ton of damage and still keep going, but dispite his name, he isn't really good at healing, in case you were expecting that.
The Priest is a powerful warrior who has dedicated his life to holy pursuits, namely the eradication of evil. He is driven by a single mission: to prevent the resurrection of the demon Ozma and his devilish minions.
The Priest doesn't really have much magic power, but any he does have, he can use to buff himself or his friends up, or heal everyone a little bit, but not much. he uses terrifying big weapons like Giant Crosses or Totem Poles, Battle Axes, Scythes, and Roseries. this is one guy enemys of evil fear.
if you love to do everything in few hits, perfer heavy defense, or like to use holy power, then the Priest is the Class for you. Pray for Your Enemys.
and last but certianly not least, the fastest class, The Thief
The Thief is the fastest class in the game, she is similar to the fighter in that they both are fast and close range, and can easily deal combos, although the thief is more about Arieal attacks and can actually use more magic then the fighter. but the Thief can't take all that much abuse, so being careless can get you killed.
Swift, cunning and deadly, the Thief has a long relationship with death. As a Dark Elf she has seen her people fail to deadly betrayals and epidemics. The Dark Elves have abandoned the magical ways of their ancestors, and now excel at espionage and assassination. They are not wanton criminals, however, they are practical predators, If you have something they need, they will take it, be it information, memories, or your soul.
The Thief can use knives or other small weapons, but what makes her stand out is her combo potential, she can easily kill enemys fast with her speed and grace. the only thing bad about this class is that she only has 2 sub classes right now, which I will cover next time, but more are coming soon hopefully, but the 2 she does have are really deadly.
if you perfer speed over power, doing deadly combos, or just like to steal, then the Thief is the class for you. She Takes What She Wants.
Well thats all of the character classes you can use in DFO, so which one will you pick, or if you already play the game, which one are you? please leave a comment and I will see you next time.
