Markman of Madcatz and SDTekken has been recently teasing us on the upcoming design of the special edition arcade sticks for EVO 2K10. Now the wait is over, the sticks have been revealed and I must say so myself, they are snazzy!

So you are wondering how can you get one of these? You have to place Top 8 in the Super Street Fighter 4 tournament, win the Ladies Super Street Fighter 4 tournament, or win the raffle via live stream provided by Level|Up! There are only 25 of these made, so good luck out there! For more pics check out the link below!

Jarvitz Interviews Gotsu87:

jarvitz:     Hello, would you mind telling us who you are and a little bit of background information?

Gotsu87 : ok well my name is Tyrone i'm a gamer I’ve been playing Soul Calibur for like 8 years or so.

jarvitz: Ok, so who is your main and why?

Gotsu87 : Well I main Taki she is like the ninja of the series. She has speed, power, and great pressure and she's awesome.

jarvitz: Could you describe her move set or your favorite moves and combos?

Gotsu87: Taki her basic moves she has a lot of great moves like the possession is one of the best stances in the game she has speed which is her best weapon she can be very evasive one of my favorite moves are the ninja cannon u can do so many options here you can use your A to fake or use possession into a escape another one of my favorite moves is the wind roll u can be very tricky to use in the heat of battle like u can roll backwards, forwards, sideways, mixing that up very deadly she also has one of the best A attacks in the game like shadow ripper a good.
A+A attack into a B low stance.

jarvitz: hmm sounds good. Do you think she deserves to be in her spot on the tier list?

Gotsu87: Yes I do she's high in the tier list but not high enough to be god tier or S tier she's fast and she can hold her own if used correctly.

jarvitz: Well since she is high on the list, are there many bad matchups for her? And for you specifically?

Gotsu87 :
Yes she does have bad machtups Sigfried is one of her bad matchups she has long range and also has the stances can be very tricky to anticipate. Setuka is another bad matchup for Taki her stun's are very effective she to is very quick. another one to me is nightmare if used right and with his home field advantage anything with a ring out nightmare is very deadly nightmare is one of my worst matchups lol.

jarvitz: Ok, so how do you deal with these tough matchups?

Gotsu87:  I normally go in there with what brought Taki to dance her speed try to get quick moves executed her A+A, also her K ( when used crouching a great way to stun and very quick) also try to stay close into them to keep up the pressure and hopefully u win like i said before there's many options in the palm of your hands. Her ninja bombs are a great Taki move very quick as well.

jarvitz: So basically you just do what you normally do. No tricks except for maybe a stage. Which stages do you like and dislike?

Gotsu87: Stages that are my favorite hmmm.... I would say Egyptian Temple- Sacred Flame, Phantom Pjust avllton, and star destroyer docking bay everyone loves star wars lol my stages I dislike are just one Grand Labyrinth-Corridor of suspended time.

Jarvitz: Sounds fun.

Gotsu87:  lol .

jarvitz: So do you have any shout outs to anyone or any closing notes?

Gotsu87: Well just in all of us burns the soul of a warrior never give up if there's a will there's a way you just have to find it and I have a shout out to my friend Enrish that's all.

jarvitz: Ok, thanks from everyone at allisfighter.com

Gotsu87: Thanks
for your time.

* These players have secured spots in the XBL/PSN ranbat sign ups

For the very first tournament of the 4 week ranbat series, we were bombarded with requests to play in the tournament! So to meet the demand, we doubled the cap to 32 players! There were 16 players for PSN and 30 for XBL! Big numbers for opening night of the ranbats! Sadly next week the cap will go right back to 16 players and 2 of those spots will be filled up by the top two players in the previous ranbat! Tonight was the very first (of many) iPlaywinner/AllisFighter tournaments that were held online through XBOX LIVE and PLAYSTATION NETWORK. The 16 man cap was quickly filled up in less then 12 hours of announcing the tournament, along with that, the intense hype that the players brought to the table. There were some pretty solid matches, and the players showed that online warriors have what it takes to be champions.

Top 3 for the XBOX Live:

1. DigitalTyrany

2. TheNeck

3. WestCoastNinja

The LA Riots III tournament is Saturday, and Get Your Tournament will be doing a few things leading up to and during the event. The first is our Bracket Challenge; we'll be giving away some cool prizes to those that can guess how the tournament is going to go. If you're really good, you'll have a lot coming to you.
Here's how the contest goes: Your goal is to fill out the bracket above (click to see a bigger version) with how you think Saturday's LA Riots III tournament will turn out. Points will be awarded for each round of the tournament.

  • Round 1: 1 point per match
  • Round 2: 3 points per match
  • Round 3: 5 points
  • Rounds 4 and 5: 1 point per match
  • Round 6: 2 points
  • Round 7: 3 points
  • Round 8 championship: 7 points

The person with the most points will win the contest. In the event of a tie, we will take all of those in the tie and do a drawing on a live stream to see who is the winner.
Here are the prizes you can win:

  • First place: Your choice of an iPod Shuffle or Marvel vs. Capcom fight stick (Xbox 360)
  • Second place: A MadCatz TE keychain
  • Third place: A MadCatz TE keychain

If you predict a perfect bracket – that means you get the result of every match correctly – you will win an iPod Shuffle AND the MadCatz Marvel vs. Capcom fight stick, plus a World Warrior II T-shirt from Kineda.com and an iTunes gift card and a MadCatz TE keychain!
Some other notes before you get started working on your bracket:

  • The double jeopardy rule will be enforced in the tournament. That means that the same match can't happen twice in a tournament unless it's unpreventable. This situation would only happen in Round 5. If you believe that is going to happen, then switch the two players that lost from Round 2 (A goes to B, and B goes to A), and continue to fill out your bracket.
  • For the championship match, you only need to say who will win the tournament, regardless of whether it goes to a second grand finals.
  • No sticking players more than it's possible to happen or else you will be disqualified. Example: Don't stick (just an example) Shizza vs. Justin Wong in every spot of the bracket.
  • Incomplete brackets will not be counted.
  • None of my current teammates, former teammates, LA Riots organizers or competitors in the tournament can enter (sorry, for the most part).
  • You can submit up to TWO different brackets, however you can only win one prize.
  • If the official bracket is altered prior to Saturday, all submissions are absolved, and the contest will re-start.
  • Once you submit your entry, that's it, no changes.
  • I have the right to change the rules at anytime including, and up to, the day of the tournament.
You can submit your bracket predictions two different ways:
  1. Leave it in the comments section below, with a name.
  2. E-mail me at info@gytnews.com with the headline BRACKET CHALLENGE and a name.
The deadline is 11 a.m. PT Saturday!
If you need an example of how to submit your answers, here you go. This is an example only:

Submission example:

Round 1
Player A beats Player B
Player C beats Player D
Player E beats Player F
Player G beats Player H

Round 2

Round 3
